Detailed port restrictions and capabilities for LPG tanker operations at Mongla Port and Chattogram Port:
Mongla Port
- Maximum Draft (High Tide): 5.5 meters
- Maximum Vessel Size: Up to 9,100 DWT LPG tanker can enter any jetty.
- Maximum Cargo Load: 2,500 MT only (this is the strict operational limit across all jetties).
- Our Mongla/Khulna Jetty Details:
- LOA: 105 meters
- Draft: 5.5 meters (high tide)
- Suitable for vessels with capacity of generally 2,500 – 3,000 MT.
Note: Even if a larger vessel such as a 5,000 DWT tanker is brought to Mongla Port, the maximum LPG loading will still be restricted to 2,500 MT.
We can accept cargo delivery directly at our Mongla/Khulna jetty within the above parameters.
Chattogram (Chittagong) Port
- Maximum Vessel Size: Up to 15,000 DWT LPG tanker can be handled.
- Draft (High Tide): Maximum 8 meters at Boalia, Sitakunda, and Anowara jetties.
- Vessel Allowance: Up to 14,600 DWT vessels are permitted.
- Cargo Capacity: 10,000 MT to 12,000 MT can be handled at any jetty.
- Loading Tolerance: Minus 5% to plus 10% on LPG cargo.
