Chartering Services – Voyage & Time Charter Solutions

Ametheus provides professional vessel chartering support for traders, refiners, and industrial buyers moving petroleum products (crude, LPG, LNG, fuels and chemicals), dry bulk agri parcels, minerals and building materials. We combine market intelligence, strong relationships with shipowners and operators, and disciplined execution to secure suitable tonnage on competitive terms.

Whether you need a single voyage charter (VC) fixture or ongoing tonnage coverage under Time Charter Period (TCP) or Time Charter Trip (TCT), our team manages the process from enquiry through to post-fixture follow-up.

How We Work

  1. Enquiry Received You submit a freight enquiry or full charter request. We acknowledge within the same working day.
  2. Market Screening & Shortlist We screen the market for suitable open tonnage, assess vessel suitability, age, certifications and commercial terms, and prepare a shortlist.
  3. Negotiation Support We negotiate freight/hire, laycan, demurrage and key clauses on your behalf (or jointly with you), keeping you fully informed at every stage.
  4. Fixture & Charter Party Once terms are agreed, we assist with the fixture recap and the preparation/review of the Charter Party (BIMCO or customary forms).
  5. Post-Fixture Follow-up We remain available for operational coordination, documentation support and any post-fixture issues until the voyage is completed.

Chartering Procedure (Operational Steps)

  1. Sign the fixture recap.
  2. Charterer receives KYC documents, authorisation to sublease and invoice.
  3. Charterer conducts due diligence on the nominated vessel.
  4. If due diligence is satisfactory, the reservation fee is paid.
  5. Payment is completed.
  6. Inspection and bunker survey are arranged.
  7. Vessel is delivered.
