1. Polyethylene (PE)

Used for films, bags, liners, pipes, bottles, caps, crates and industrial moulding.

LLDPE — Linear Low-Density Polyethylene
Typical uses: stretch and shrink film, shopping bags, liners, and blending with LDPE.

  • LLDPE LL0209AA — general packaging film, grocery bags, liners and light-duty FFS film
  • LLDPE Slip (1 MFI and 2 MFI) — high-speed packing film, bread bags, garment bags and films that must open easily on machines
  • LLDPE Non-Slip (1 MFI and 2 MFI) — heavy-duty sacks, fertilizer bags, construction liners and films that need grip when stacked
  • LLDPE E24065 — blown film for liners, stretch hood and general packaging
  • LLDPE 1018MK — blown film for shopping bags, garbage bags and agricultural mulch film
  • LLDPE 1018MA — blown film for liners, shipping sacks and blend film with LDPE
  • LLDPE 8784MK — packaging film, industrial liners and general-purpose blown film

LDPE — Low-Density Polyethylene
Typical uses: soft films, lamination, coating, squeeze bottles and blending.

HDPE — High-Density Polyethylene
Typical uses: pipes, drums, crates, bottles, caps, woven sacks and injection moulding.

  • HDPE EX3 (PE100) — pressure water pipe, gas pipe and PE100 fittings
  • HDPE Pipe Iran EX3 — pressure pipe and conduit, Iranian origin
  • HDPE Iran EX5 (BPC) — large jerry cans, drums, chemical containers and blow-moulded tanks
  • HDPE HD52518 — injection moulding of housewares, thin-wall items and general moulded parts
  • HDPE CC52502 — caps, closures and injection-moulded lids
  • HDPE HB0035 — blow-moulded bottles, cans and small industrial containers
  • HDPE B52 — blow-moulded drums, jerrycans and industrial bottles

HDPE — typical MFI by grade
Values below are typical datasheet figures, not a guarantee. Always confirm on the mill COA before booking. HDPE MFI is measured at 190 °C; the load changes the number, so both common loads are shown where mills publish them.

Data for buyer:
  • Pipe (EX3 / PE100): ignore the 2.16 kg number. Mills quote MFR 5 kg ≈ 0.45 and HLMI 21.6 kg ≈ 12. That is the PE100 extrusion window.
  • Blow moulding (HB0035, B52): low MFI so the parison does not sag. Small bottles ≈ 0.3–0.4 @ 2.16 kg; large drums even lower / quoted on 21.6 kg.
  • Caps (CC52502): about 2 MFI — flow for compression/injection caps without going thin-wall soft.
  • Housewares (HD52518) and crates (I56200): high flow — 18–20 @ 2.16 kg.
  • Equate 6888: published as HMW blown-film resin (HLMI 10), not a standard injection crate grade. Confirm process on the RFQ.
  • EX5 vs your use-line: published Iranian EX5 = film (HM9450F). Jerry-can / drum blow grades from BPC/Jam are more often HB0035 / BL3 / B52. Ask the supplier which TDS they will ship.
  • S42005: Reliance TDS is 0.55 MFI, cable jacket. If the buyer wants raffia tape / woven sacks, ask for the raffia HDPE TDS (often E52009-type, ~0.9 MFI).

Note: We can quote MFI at 190 °C with load (2.16 / 5 / 21.6 kg), density, and will attach COA.


2. Polypropylene (PP)

Typical uses: woven sacks, injection moulding, thermoforming, fibre and household goods.

  • PP M312 — injection moulding of housewares, thin-wall containers and general moulded parts
  • PP M304 — injection moulding of household goods, caps and utility items
  • PP 3155 — injection moulding of appliance parts, furniture and consumer goods
  • PP H350EC — extrusion coating on woven fabric, paper and packaging laminate
  • PP M12RR — raffia tape for woven sacks, FIBC jumbo bags and tarpaulin
  • PP 110MA — injection moulding of containers, lids and general parts
  • PP 030SG — raffia, strapping, monofilament and low-MFI extrusion
  • PP 100EY — BOPP film, yarn, fibre and raffia-type extrusion

3. Polystyrene and Styrenic Products

Typical uses: disposable cups, food trays, appliance housings, toys and rigid packaging.

  • GPPS 1540 — clear disposable cups, cutlery, CD cases, stationery and rigid moulded packaging
  • GPPS 1160 — extrusion and moulding of sheets, food trays and general clear PS parts
  • HIPS 7240 — refrigerator liners, TV/appliance housings, toys and impact-resistant sheets

4. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

Typical uses: appliance parts, automotive interiors, electronics housings and coloured moulded goods.

  • ABS 0150 SD — injection moulding of appliance panels, electronics housings and general ABS parts
  • ABS 40, 50 and 70 — natural and coloured moulding for auto interiors, luggage, toys and housings (40 = easier flow, 70 = higher impact)
  • ABS Taita — appliance, electronics and general injection moulding
  • ABS Bhansali — automotive interiors, appliances and coloured consumer moulding

5. Polyester and Engineering Plastics

Typical uses: bottles and preforms (PET); electrical, automotive and transparent parts (PC).

  • PET 821 — water / CSD bottle preforms and packaging resin
  • PET 801 — bottle-grade PET for beverages, edible oil and wide-mouth jars
  • Polycarbonate (PC) — MFI 7–10 — thicker electrical housings, safety sheets, automotive lenses and structural parts
  • Polycarbonate (PC) — MFI 10–12 — thinner injection parts, lighting covers, appliance windows and transparent housings

6. Recycled Polymers

Typical uses: cost-sensitive film, moulding and compounding where virgin resin is not required.

  • Recycle granular LDPE — film grade — garbage bags, construction liners, nursery film and blend film
  • Recycle granular HDPE — injection crates, pallets, pipes (non-pressure), blow bottles and compounding
  • Recycle granular PP — homo — injection housewares, furniture parts, compounding and raffia blend

7. Polymer Compounds and Additives

Filled, coloured and performance compounds, plus common polymer additives.

Industrial applications: colour masterbatch, filler compounds (CaCO₃ / talc), UV-stabilised outdoor compounds, flame-retardant compounds, anti-static compounds and processing additives for PE, PP, ABS and PVC.

When requesting a quote, specify base resin, loading, colour and end use.


8. Bitumen and Asphalt Products

Typical uses: road construction, waterproofing, roofing and industrial binders.

  • Bitumen 40/50 — hot-climate road paving, airport runways and harder asphalt mix
  • Bitumen 60/70 — standard highway / city road paving and hot-mix asphalt
  • Bitumen 80/100 — cooler-climate roads, blending and softer paving grade
  • Oxidized bitumen — roofing felt, pipe coating, waterproofing membranes and industrial sealants
  • Emulsion bitumen — tack coat, surface dressing, cold mix and road maintenance
  • Cutback bitumen — prime coat on granular base, cold-mix patching and winter road work

9. Waxes and Oils

Typical uses: candles, packaging, rubber compounding, tyres and lubricant blending.

  • Paraffin wax — fully refined (slab) — food-contact packaging, cosmetics, quality candles and paper coating
  • Paraffin wax — semi refined (slab) — household candles, matches, boards and industrial wax blends
  • Paraffin wax — rerun — industrial candles, rust-preventive blends and further refining feedstock
  • Slack wax — feedstock for refined paraffin and industrial wax blending
  • Rubber process oil (RPO) — tyre compounds, conveyor belts, rubber mats and footwear
  • MES (mild extract solvate) — tyre and rubber compounding as a process oil
  • Base oil SN150 — light lubricants, transformer oil blends, sewing-machine oils and process oils
  • Base oil SN500 — engine-oil blendstock, gear oil and general industrial lubricants
  • Base oil SN650 — heavy industrial lubricants, gear oils and grease manufacture

10. Other Petrochemical Chemicals

Typical uses: detergents, solvents, resins, plastics processing and general industry.

  • Iso-butanol — paints, coatings, printing inks, extractant and chemical intermediate
  • LAB (linear alkyl benzene) — feedstock for LABSA / detergent powder, cake and liquid soaps
  • MEA, DEA and TEA — natural-gas sweetening, detergent intermediates, cement grinding aid and personal-care emulsifiers
  • Phthalic anhydride (PA) — plasticizers (DOP/DINP), alkyd paints, unsaturated polyester resin and dyes
  • Carbon black — tyres, rubber goods, plastic masterbatch, inks and pigment
  • Caustic soda flake — alumina refining, soap and detergent, pulp and paper, textiles and water treatment
